Nvidia unveils DLSS 4 with advanced frame generation technology at CES 2025
Nvidia has announced DLSS 4, a new version of its Deep Learning Super Sampling technology, alongside the RTX 50-series graphics cards at CES 2025. This update introduces Multi Frame Generation, which can create up to three extra frames for each rendered frame. DLSS 4 aims to significantly improve gaming performance, potentially increasing frame rates by up to eight times compared to traditional methods. The GeForce RTX 5090 can achieve 4K gaming at 240 frames per second with full ray tracing. At launch, around 75 games will support DLSS 4, including popular titles like CyberPunk 2077 and God of War Ragnarök. The technology is expected to enhance both frame rates and visual quality in these games.
