Nvidia unveils GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs for gamers and creators at CES 2025
Nvidia founder Jensen Huang introduced the GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs at CES 2025, marking a significant advancement in graphics technology for gamers and creators. These new graphics processors are designed for both desktop and laptop computers. The RTX 50 Series features Nvidia's next-generation AI chip, Blackwell, which enhances AI-driven rendering. Huang described it as a major innovation in computer graphics, comparable to the introduction of programmable shading 25 years ago. Nvidia also announced "RTX Neural Shaders" to improve the rendering of digital humans and new technologies for creating "autonomous characters" that can interact and strategize like human players. Other tech companies, including AMD and Google, are also showcasing AI tools at the event.
