Nvidia unveils new gaming chips at CES, integrating AI features from data center technology
Nvidia has launched new gaming chips, the GeForce RTX 50-series, at CES in Las Vegas. These chips use the same Blackwell architecture as the company's AI processors for data centers, marking a shift towards integrating AI features into gaming. The RTX 50-series will enhance gaming graphics and performance, featuring AI-driven technology like DLSS 4. Nvidia's gaming revenue has increased by 15% recently, but it still represents less than 10% of total revenue, with data center sales dominating. The most powerful chip, the RTX 5090, will retail for $1,999 and is designed to support both gaming and AI applications. Nvidia aims to leverage its advancements in AI to improve gaming experiences and capabilities.
