NYC meteorologist Lonnie Quinn steps away for health
Lonnie Quinn, a well-known meteorologist in New York City, announced he will temporarily step away from his role at WCBS TV. He made this surprise announcement during a broadcast on Friday evening. Quinn revealed he suffered a concussion earlier this year after hitting his head. Initially, he did not notice any serious symptoms. However, he later experienced troubling signs, including sudden vision problems before a broadcast. Medical tests, including an MRI, showed that Quinn had not fully recovered from the injury. Doctors advised him that he needed proper treatment and rest to heal. Quinn plans to take about four weeks off for therapy and recovery. He expressed confidence that he will make a full recovery and hopes to return to his weather broadcasting role later this spring.
