NYPD seeks suspect in assault on boy in Queens

The person pushed the boy to the ground and then hit him in the face when his mother confronted him. The suspect displayed a knife and then ran away. He boarded a Q100 MTA bus after fleeing the area. Emergency Medical Services treated the boy for minor leg pain, but his mother was not injured. The NYPD has released a surveillance photo of the individual and is asking anyone with information to come forward.
