NYX restaurant opens in Worsley, offering Mediterranean cuisine
The new restaurant NYX has opened in Worsley, taking over the site of Ryan Giggs' former restaurant. After a major refurbishment, the owners aim to create a "Mediterranean paradise" in the village. The restaurant will officially welcome guests on March 28. NYX features elegant decor inspired by the Mediterranean. The design includes cave-like interiors and subtle color tones. Chairs were sourced from Turkey, and the bar area has a Greek mosaic floor. Originally, the restaurant had bright blue windows, but feedback led to a swift change to black woodwork for a more classic look. The extensive menu includes Mediterranean classics. Guests can enjoy dishes such as Tzatziki, Stuffed Vine Leaves, and Grilled Seabass. The dessert menu features items like pistachio cheesecake and Baklava. Breakfast offering will begin in mid-April with choices like Eggs Benedict and smoothies. The restaurant emphasizes community feedback in its design and menu. Okan Bulut, CEO of Maturo Restaurant Group, expressed excitement about the launch, mentioning the adjustments made based on local input. NYX will also offer live entertainment and themed nights in the future. It plans to serve guests seven days a week, and table bookings are currently available.
