NZME shareholder supports proposed board changes and leadership
Roger Colman, an influential shareholder in NZME, is advocating for changes on the company’s board. He traveled from Australia to meet with billionaire investor Jim Grenon, who wants to take a seat on the board. Colman also supports chief executive Michael Boggs becoming a board member. Colman mentioned that NZME has faced challenges in the past due to an unstable share register. He believes that expanding the board from five to eight members could benefit the company. During his visit to New Zealand, Colman met with Grenon and three other nominees for the board. He spent nearly two hours discussing their plans. Additionally, he visited NZME’s headquarters to meet with chairwoman Barbara Chapman and two current directors, Guy Horrocks and Sussan Turner.
