Obsidian has revealed details about four companions in their upcoming RPG, Avowed. Players will recruit these characters to help combat the Dream Scourge plague in the Living Lands. Each companion plays a significant role in the story. The first companion, Kai, is an Aumaua fighter and former navy member, known for his swashbuckling style. Giatta, a human wizard, seeks to continue her parents' research after a tragic accident. Marius, a dwarf ranger, is a skilled hunter from the harsh wilderness of Solace. Yatzli, an Orlan wizard, studies the ancient Godless people and is described as adventurous and flirtatious. Players will engage with companions through dialogue and banter, but romance options are not expected.
