Odisha government to remove inefficient or corrupt employees

The goal is to enhance efficiency in public service. In his letter, Ahuja noted that some departments have not fully followed the 2019 guidelines. He expressed concern that this non-compliance undermines the purpose of the order. As a result, some employees who do not meet the standards of integrity and efficiency remain in their positions. To address these issues, Ahuja urged department secretaries to regularly hold review meetings. This will help ensure that the guidelines are properly followed and that only competent workers remain in government roles.
