Oklahoma retains No. 1 ranking in college softball
The latest college softball rankings have been released for Week 6. The Oklahoma Sooners remain the top team after winning three straight games against the Arkansas Razorbacks. The Florida Gators won their game against the Texas Longhorns, finishing the series with a 3-1 victory. The Ohio State Buckeyes are now ranked in the top 25 for the first time this season. Meanwhile, the Auburn Tigers have dropped out of the rankings. A standout play of the week came from Florida State’s Amaya Ross, who hit an inside-the-park home run during a recent game. In player highlights, LSU’s Maci Bergeron shined over the weekend. She helped her team sweep Kentucky, hitting two home runs and driving in five runs in the final game.
