Olamide Zaccheaus believes Caleb Williams needs mental growth
Wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus played for the Washington Commanders in 2024, where he teamed up with rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels. Zaccheaus shared that many people recognized early on that Daniels was prepared for the NFL. The Commanders reached the NFC Championship Game, which was Zaccheaus's last match with the team before signing with the Chicago Bears. Now, Zaccheaus will play alongside quarterback Caleb Williams, who was selected ahead of Daniels in the 2024 draft. While Williams did not make an immediate impact like Daniels, Zaccheaus believes he has the talent to succeed. "The biggest thing I think is the mental aspect of it for any young quarterback, especially Caleb," Zaccheaus explained. He emphasized that slowing the game down is crucial for Williams. Zaccheaus is hopeful that he can help Williams grow, but noted that head coach Ben Johnson will play a key role in developing the young quarterback. If all goes well, Zaccheaus aims for another chance at the playoffs with the Bears.
