Old Towne Orange gaining three new dining options

Old Towne Orange is set to add new dining options this year. Three places will open soon: Burritos La Palma, Paradis Ice Cream, and Centro. Burritos La Palma will take over the former Taco Adobe location, which was damaged by fire in 2022. The restaurant specializes in Zacatecan-style burritos, known for their slender shape. Popular menu items include birria, chicken tinga, and chicharron in salsa verde. Burritos La Palma started in the 1980s in Mexico and expanded to the U.S. in 2012. They currently have five locations and plan to open in Orange later this year. Paradis Ice Cream will move into the old Plaza Barbershop space, next to the closed Felix Continental Cafe. The Danish brand began in Copenhagen in 2003. Their ice cream is known for a light, gelato-like texture, with unique flavors like Earl Grey and avocado. They also offer vegan options. Paradis is expected to welcome customers in summer 2025. Centro, an Italian restaurant, will open in a renovated building from 1905 on Chapman Avenue. The Pozzuoli family, who also own a winery and brewery, will run this new spot. Centro will offer a variety of Italian dishes, including pizzas and desserts. It is set to open in spring 2025.
