One dead and four injured in train derailment in Pecos Texas

One person died and four were injured in a train derailment in Pecos, Texas, on Wednesday. The train struck a tractor trailer and hit the Chamber of Commerce building around 5 p.m. Three train cars contained hazardous materials, but officials reported that everything is contained. One injured person was taken to a hospital, while three others were treated at the scene. Traffic on Highway 285 is being diverted, with southbound traffic rerouted to F Street and County Road 1216. Northbound traffic will face closures on 3rd and 4th Streets.
