One Piece remasters Luffy's Red Hawk attack after 13 years
Toei Animation has remastered Luffy's Red Hawk attack in the latest episode of the One Piece anime, part of the ongoing remaster of the Fish-Man Island arc. This marks the first major update to the attack in 13 years. The remaster, titled One Piece Log: Fish-Man Island Saga, condenses the original arc into 21 episodes with enhanced visuals and sounds. However, it omits a key flashback to Luffy's brother Ace, which added emotional depth to the original scene. The anime is currently on hiatus, with new episodes set to resume on April 6, 2025. The upcoming episodes will continue the story from the Egghead Arc, featuring Luffy and the Straw Hats in a new time slot.
