OnePlus Pad 2 Pro features Snapdragon 8 Elite, 16GB RAM

OnePlus is working on a new tablet, the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro. This device is expected to follow the OnePlus Pad Pro and has appeared in a Chinese certification database, hinting at its 80W fast charging feature. Recent information from Geekbench reveals key details about the tablet's performance. It is powered by an 8-core Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, with two cores running at 4.32GHz and six at 3.53GHz. It also comes with 16GB of RAM and will operate on a version of Android 15. The OnePlus Pad 2 Pro scored 2633 in single-core tests and 7779 in multi-core tests on Geekbench 6. The tablet features a large 13.2-inch 3.4K LCD display for improved picture quality, compared to the previous model's 2.8K screen. It will offer storage options of up to 1TB and will include a 10,000mAh battery, just like its predecessor. Camera specs include a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera, designed for productivity rather than photography. The OnePlus Pad 2 Pro shares some specifications with the upcoming Oppo Pad 4 Pro, which is set to launch in April 2025. While OnePlus has not announced a release date, the launch is expected sometime in the second quarter of 2025, in line with Oppo's timelines.
