OpenAI seeks partnership with Reliance to expand India services

OpenAI is planning to partner with Reliance Industries to expand its ChatGPT services in India. Reports suggest that the partnership could allow Reliance Jio to distribute ChatGPT widely. OpenAI is also considering a significant price reduction for ChatGPT subscriptions, potentially cutting costs by 75 to 85 percent from the current $20. Samsung has confirmed that its One UI 7 update will start rolling out to 34 devices in April. After several delays, the stable version of this Android 15-based update will be available for models like the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy Flip 4 by April 7. Older Samsung devices will begin receiving the update a week later, on April 14. The Pixel 9a smartphone has been launched with a 6.3-inch display and an advanced Google Tensor G4 chip. It features 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, but users cannot expand the storage. The device offers a smooth display experience with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Elon Musk's platform X faces scrutiny from India's Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. The ministry is investigating the AI chatbot Grok for using inappropriate language. Musk's company has filed a lawsuit against the Indian government, arguing that current content blocking practices violate legal standards. WhatsApp is testing a new feature that allows users to link their Instagram profiles to their accounts. This addition is currently in beta for a select group of testers and aims to make it easier for users to connect their Meta-owned profiles. The Instagram link would be displayed under the user's profile picture on WhatsApp.
