Optoma launches UHC70LV 4K laser projector in Seoul
Optoma has launched its new flagship 4K laser projector, the UHC70LV, in South Korea. This projector boasts an impressive brightness of 5,000 lumens and uses advanced dual-laser technology. It also supports both Dolby Vision and HDR10+, which enhances the quality of HDR video playback. The UHC70LV is one of the few projectors that can optimize HDR content using scene-by-scene metadata. This feature promises a better viewing experience for all types of content. Additionally, it is equipped with Optoma's PureEngine Ultra processor. This technology improves picture clarity, motion smoothness, and color richness. Users can enjoy a large projection size, ranging from 30 inches to 301 inches. The device supports different installation setups, making it suitable for various environments, including homes and commercial spaces. The projector is also designed for gaming, featuring a 240Hz refresh rate at 1080p and 120Hz at 4K, with very low input lag. The UHC70LV connects easily to numerous devices and has a long laser life of up to 30,000 hours. It operates quietly, with noise levels between 25dB and 31dB, making it perfect for immersive viewing. Gordon Wu, Head of Optoma APAC, expressed excitement about the launch and emphasized their aim to satisfy high expectations from Korean consumers. The projector will be showcased at a special event on March 22, where attendees can receive gifts and discounts. More information is available on the Optoma website.
