Orange County high school baseball results from March 22

On Saturday, March 22, several high school sports events took place in Orange County. Many teams competed in baseball, softball, and girls lacrosse tournaments. In baseball, the Anaheim Lions Tournament featured several games. Aliso Niguel defeated Canyon Springs with a score of 7-0. Dana Hills played well, beating Brea Olinda 3-1, and Kennedy won against Montclair 7-0. West Linn from Oregon triumphed over Foothill with a score of 9-4. Ramona also had a solid game, winning 11-2 against Buena Park, while Dana Hills narrowly beat Sprague 7-6. Other notable baseball results included Calvary Chapel defeating Savanna 5-1 and Fountain Valley winning against Great Oak 4-1. Cypress edged past Bishop Amat 2-1, and Beckman secured a 5-1 victory over Portola. Covina outscored Laguna Hills 11-6, Century beat Santa Ana 9-4, Orange shut out Oxford Academy 3-0, La Habra won 3-1 against El Segundo, and West Covina claimed a close victory over Tustin, finishing 10-9. In softball, the Woodbridge Tournament had Burroughs/Burbank winning against Mater Dei 2-1. In girls lacrosse, Village Christian won a non-league match against Newport Harbor, dominating the game with a score of 18-6.
