Orissa High Court requests funding report for Rs 32 crore Taladanda canal clean-up project

The Orissa High Court has ordered the government to submit a report by January 30 on the approval and funding status for the Rs 32 crore Taladanda canal clean-up project. This project aims to stop wastewater from eight municipal drains from entering the canal, which connects the Mahanadi river to the Bay of Bengal. The Cuttack Municipal Corporation submitted a project report last August, but the state counsel could not provide updates on funding during a recent court hearing.
