Osaka Evessa defeats Kawasaki Brave Thunders in B.League
Ray Parks Jr. had a solid all-around performance in Osaka Evessa's 85-78 victory over the Kawasaki Brave Thunders in the B.League. The game took place on Sunday at the Kawasaki Todoroki Arena. Parks contributed six points, eight rebounds, three assists, and a steal during 34 minutes on the court, even though he did not score as much as usual. Volodymyr Gerun and Matt Bonds led Osaka in scoring, each contributing 25 and 23 points respectively. This win improves Osaka’s record to 23 wins and 21 losses. Matthew Wright, another Filipino player on Kawasaki, scored 10 points, along with five rebounds and four assists. The Brave Thunders now hold a record of 14 wins and 30 losses. In another game, AJ Edu's team, Nagasaki Velca, defeated the Hannaryz 84-63. Edu played for 12 minutes and scored two points, along with three rebounds, an assist, and a block. Velca’s record is now 21 wins and 23 losses. Dwight Ramos, another Filipino player, had a tough game for Levanga Hokkaido, losing 81-61 to the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins. Ramos failed to score, missing all 11 of his shot attempts in 19 minutes of play. He only managed one rebound and one steal, leaving Hokkaido with a 16-28 record.
