Outlander prequel Blood of My Blood to premiere this summer on Starz

The prequel series "Outlander: Blood of My Blood" will premiere this summer on Starz. An exact date will be announced later. This follows the release of a teaser trailer and just before the finale of "Outlander" Season 7. The new series focuses on the romances of Julia Moriston and Henry Beauchamp, as well as Ellen MacKenzie and Brian Fraser. The cast includes Hermione Corfield and Jeremy Irvine, among others. "Blood of My Blood" was officially approved in January 2023, following earlier reports in February 2022. The eighth season of "Outlander" has been filmed but lacks a premiere date.
