Overwatch 2 introduces new DPS hero Freja with explosive crossbow and mobility skills

Overwatch 2 has introduced a new DPS hero named Freja, a former search and rescue operative. She features an explosive crossbow, a bola ability to pull enemies together, and mobility skills for quick movement and map traversal. In addition to Freja, Overwatch 2 will launch a new Stadium mode and over 160 hero perks. Loot boxes are also returning to the game. Players can try Freja during a free trial weekend in Season 15, with details to be announced later. Another hero, codenamed Aqua, is in development and will have water-based abilities. More information about Aqua will be revealed in Season 18.
