Ozzy Osbourne receives second Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction as solo artist
Ozzy Osbourne has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for the second time, this time as a solo artist. The ceremony took place on October 19, 2024, in Cleveland, Ohio. Osbourne, 75, was first inducted in 2006 as part of Black Sabbath. Due to health issues, he did not perform and was seated in a bat-themed throne. Actor Jack Black inducted Osbourne, calling him the "greatest frontman in the history of rock and roll." Osbourne dedicated the honor to his late guitarist, Randy Rhoads.
