Pagasa issues heavy rainfall warnings for Luzon as Typhoon Pepito approaches
The Philippine weather bureau, Pagasa, has issued heavy rainfall warnings for parts of Luzon due to Typhoon Pepito. Red warnings indicate over 30 millimeters of rain in three hours, while orange warnings predict 15 to 30 millimeters, and yellow warnings forecast 7.5 to 15 millimeters. Flooding is a concern, especially in mountainous regions. Typhoon Pepito's speed has increased to 20 kilometers per hour, with maximum sustained winds of 185 kilometers per hour. It is expected to make landfall near Aurora later today.
