Pagasa lifts Signal No. 4 in Luzon as typhoon Pepito weakens over West Philippine Sea
Typhoon Pepito, also known as Man-yi, is weakening as it moves over the West Philippine Sea. It is currently located 105 kilometers west southwest of Sinait, Ilocos Sur, with maximum sustained winds of 150 km/h. The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) has lifted Signal No. 4 in several areas of Luzon. The typhoon is moving northwest at 30 km/h and has gusts reaching 185 km/h. Other areas in Luzon remain under various wind signals, including Signal No. 3, No. 2, and No. 1.
