Pakistan Day parade scaled back for Ramadan observance
The Pakistan Day military parade will be held on March 23, 2025. This year’s parade will be smaller than usual because of the holy month of Ramadan. The event will celebrate Pakistan's 85th Republic Day. Members of the army, navy, and air force will take part in the parade. Unlike last year, the parade will not be at Parade Avenue in Islamabad but will take place at Aiwan-e-Sadr. President Asif Ali Zardari will be the chief guest at the event. The Pakistan Air Force will perform a flypast with fighter jets. Foreign ambassadors and special guests have been invited to the ceremony. On this day, national heroes and foreign dignitaries are usually honored with the highest civilian awards.
