Pakistan protests Afghan territory used for terrorist attacks

Pakistan's Foreign Office has summoned the Afghan Chargé d’Affaires to express strong concerns over a recent terrorist attack. The attack targeted the Jaffar Express and allegedly involved militants using Afghan territory. Pakistan is demanding an explanation from Afghanistan. They claim that the terrorists were in communication with their handlers located across the Afghan border. Officials also stated that Pakistan expects Afghanistan to take action against the armed groups that are launching attacks into Pakistan. Tensions have increased between the two countries since the Taliban regained control in Afghanistan. Pakistan has accused these groups of using Afghan soil to execute their operations.
