Pakistan says US administration change won't impact ties with China
Pakistan's Foreign Office stated that the recent change in the U.S. administration will not affect its ties with China. The spokesperson emphasized that Pakistan's relationship with China is stable and strategic, regardless of international developments.
The Foreign Office also highlighted the importance of non-interference in domestic matters for U.S.-Pakistan relations. Claims that the U.S. would pressure Pakistan regarding the release of former Prime Minister Imran Khan were dismissed as speculative.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to visit Saudi Arabia for the Joint Arab-Islamic Summit on November 11. He will address the ongoing crisis in the Middle East, particularly the situation in Gaza, and reaffirm Pakistan's support for the Palestinian cause.
