Pakistan will miss viewing the annular solar eclipse on October 2-3, says PMD
Pakistan will not be able to see the annular solar eclipse on October 2-3, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department. The eclipse will start at 8:45 PM local time and will be visible in parts of North and South America and Antarctica. This annular solar eclipse, known as a "ring of fire," will mainly be visible in southern Chile and Argentina. The previous solar eclipse in April was visible to a much larger population in the U.S. A partial solar eclipse will also occur, visible in parts of South America, Antarctica, and North America. Observers are advised to use proper eye protection, as regular sunglasses are not safe for viewing the eclipse.
