Pakistan wins bronze in tennis championship in Turkiye
Pakistan won the bronze medal at the International Tennis Federation Masters 45+ World Championship, defeating Germany 2-1. This event took place in Manavgat, Turkiye, with 21 nations participating in the men's team competition. The Pakistani team, led by captain Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, had strong performances in the group stage, winning 3-0 against Romania and Turkiye. They reached the semifinals but lost to France before securing bronze against Germany. In addition, Pakistani player Talha Waheed set a new world record for the most tennis serves in a minute, achieving 59 successful serves. The team will also compete in individual events in the championship's second week.
