Pakistani expats in UAE celebrate National Day

The Pakistan Embassy in the UAE held an event today to celebrate Pakistan's National Day. Many members of the Pakistani community attended, including families and children. The event began with the hoisting of the flag by Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi and the playing of the National Anthem. During the ceremony, messages from Pakistan's top leaders were read aloud. A group of Pakistani students joyfully performed patriotic songs. Ambassador Tirmizi spoke about the historical struggles that led to Pakistan's independence. He stressed the importance of unity and cooperation in overcoming economic difficulties. The Ambassador highlighted the strong bonds between Pakistan and the UAE. He recognized the significant contributions of Pakistanis in the UAE to both countries' economies. To honor the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Embassy will launch a book about his life. This initiative serves as a tribute from the Pakistani community to the Year of Community announced by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
