Pakistani intruder arrested in Jammu and Kashmir

Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir have detained a man attempting to cross the International Border from Pakistan. The incident took place in the Kathua district on the night of March 19, 2025. The man has been identified as Qadir Baksh. He is from Gafurabad, a town in the Tehsil of Chiniot, Pakistan. Authorities say that security personnel noticed suspicious movement in the Hiranagar sector. They fired warning shots before capturing Baksh. An investigation is ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding his intrusion.
