Palm Beach County's outgoing state attorney transitions to private practice
Dave Aronberg, the outgoing Palm Beach State Attorney, will start a private law practice after his term ends this week. He served three terms and chose not to seek reelection, with Alexcia Cox set to take over as the first Black and female State Attorney on January 5. Aronberg's new firm, Dave Aronberg Law, P.A., will handle civil and criminal cases, as well as land-use planning. The firm opens to clients on January 2. He plans to continue his work on opioid addiction treatment and compliance for drug treatment providers. During his tenure, Aronberg established a task force to address issues in drug treatment programs. He was first elected in 2012 and has made significant contributions to local government and community health initiatives.
