Palworld players can now customize armor appearance
Players can now customize their armor appearance in Palworld with the new update v0.50 released in March 2025. This update also introduced crossplay and the Global Palbox feature. The customization system allows players to change how their armor looks without changing its stats. However, there are some limitations. Players cannot change the color of their armor and can only change the appearance to match another armor piece they already own. The customization process might be a bit confusing, so here’s a simple guide. To start customizing, players need an Antique Dresser. This can be unlocked at level 22 for one Ancient Technology point. Building it requires 100 wood, 20 fiber, 30 stone, and five ancient civilization parts. Once you have the Antique Dresser, get close to it and select “Edit Character Outfit.” In this menu, you can change the appearance of your head, body, and glider equipment. To make your armor look like a specific piece, you must have that armor in your inventory. For instance, if you want to wear Pelt Armor’s look, you need to possess a Pelt Armor piece. After customizing, your character will keep this appearance even if you switch your equipment. You can also remove any cosmetic armor pieces from your inventory since your look will stay the same. For any future changes, just return to the Antique Dresser to customize again.
