Panthers eye Texas receiver Isaiah Bond in NFL Draft
The Carolina Panthers are looking to improve their offense for quarterback Bryce Young as they head into the 2025 NFL Draft. Young, the first overall pick in 2023, showed progress in his second season, finishing with 2,403 passing yards, 15 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. Fans are hopeful for his development in year three. Currently, the Panthers' top wide receivers are Adam Thielen, Xavier Legette, and Jalen Coker. While they are solid targets, the team is considering adding a faster option to enhance their offense. According to projections, the Panthers may select wide receiver Isaiah Bond from Texas in the second round of the upcoming draft. Bond is known for his impressive speed, having run a 4.39-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Draft Combine. Although he missed some games due to injury in 2024, he managed to record 34 catches for 540 yards and five touchdowns. His average of 15.9 yards per reception indicates potential. If Bond is available at the 57th pick, the Panthers should seriously consider drafting him. He could become a key player for Young and help elevate the team's performance moving forward.
