Parents face charges in death of 2-year-old girl in Homer Glen, Illinois

The parents of a two-year-old girl, Trinity Balen-Weiher, who died in Homer Glen, Illinois, have been charged in connection with her death. Authorities found Trinity unresponsive at home, where they also discovered heroin, spoiled food, and dirty clothing. Her parents, Edward Weiher and Alexa Balen, face charges including child endangerment. Their six-year-old child is now in the care of state services. The cause of Trinity's death is still under investigation.
