Parking dispute in Winnipeg leads to woman's injury

A woman in her 30s was trying to save a parking spot for her family at a recreational facility on Saturday afternoon. The woman was standing in an open parking space when an SUV arrived. According to police, she and the driver of the SUV got into an argument over the spot. The situation escalated when the SUV allegedly drove into the spot, knocking the woman down and trapping her under the front tires. After the collision, the SUV drove away, leaving the woman on the ground. Emergency services took her to the hospital, where she is now in stable condition with lower body injuries. Later, police arrested a 40-year-old woman believed to be the driver. She faces charges of assault with a weapon and careless driving.
