Parsons wins $4 billion contract to support U.S. defense agency in countering weapons of mass destruction

Parsons Corporation has been awarded a $4 billion contract by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) to support efforts against weapons of mass destruction. This contract includes a five-year base period and an option for an additional five years. Under this new contract, Parsons will compete for various tasks, including research, development, and systems engineering. This work builds on Parsons' long history of supporting DTRA in global security initiatives. Previously, in 2023, Parsons received two task orders under a different DTRA contract focused on enhancing partner nations' capabilities and conducting vulnerability assessments. This new contract expands Parsons' role in addressing global threats.
