Part of South Burdick Street in Kalamazoo will be closed for utility work from April 2 to April 12. The closure will affect the northbound lanes between East Walnut Street and West Cedar Street. During this time, northbound drivers will need to follow a detour along Walnut Street to Rose Street. One lane at the corner of Walnut and Burdick streets will also be closed. Despite the northbound lane closure, southbound traffic on Burdick Street will still be able to flow through the area. The city of Kalamazoo is informing residents about the upcoming work.
