Partiful named Google's app of the year for 2024

Partiful, an event-planning app based in New York, has been named Google’s app of the year for 2024. This recognition comes as it competes with established platforms like Evite and Eventbrite. Founded in 2020, Partiful allows users to create event pages and manage RSVPs easily. The app has gained popularity among younger users, with millions of monthly active users reported by the end of 2023. Despite its success, most of Partiful's downloads come from the Apple App Store, with 95% of this year's downloads attributed to iOS. Other notable winners in Google's annual list include AFK Journey as the best game and Max as the best multi-device app.
