Passenger killed in Naugatuck car crash last week

Police are looking into a serious car crash in Naugatuck that resulted in one death. The accident occurred on March 14 around 8:30 p.m. on Gunntown Road. Officers arrived and found a Kia Sedona that had gone off the road and hit a stone wall. The driver, a 31-year-old man from Hartford, suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment. The passenger, 46-year-old Glen Halama from Naugatuck, was also transported to the hospital but was later pronounced dead. The Naugatuck Police Department is working with the Naugatuck Valley Collision Investigation Team to investigate the incident. No additional details have been released at this time.
