Path of Exile 2 players can earn Ascendancy Points through trials

eurogamer.net December 12, 2024, 07:01 PM UTC

In Path of Exile 2, Ascendancy Points are special passive skill points used to unlock unique abilities in your Ascendancy Class. Players can track their points on the Skill Tree screen. These points can be refunded, but at a higher cost than regular points. To earn Ascendancy Points, players must complete the Trial of the Sekhemas or the Trial of Chaos. The first two points are awarded upon unlocking an Ascendancy Class by completing one of these trials. Additional points require using rare items to repeat the trials. Players can obtain Djinn Baryas and Inscribed Ultimatum to access more trial floors for additional Ascendancy Points. These items appear starting in Act II, but they disappear if players fail the trials.
