Patrik Schick prefers Premier League move this summer
Patrik Schick, a forward for Bayer Leverkusen, is considering a move to the Premier League if he leaves the club this summer. Leverkusen is trying to extend his contract, but discussions have not yet succeeded. This season, Schick has had an impressive performance, scoring 23 goals across all competitions. He has netted 17 goals in the Bundesliga, ranking just behind Harry Kane. Remarkably, Schick has only started 13 league matches, averaging a goal every 68 minutes. Schick also played well for the Czech Republic, scoring two goals in a recent World Cup qualification match against the Faroe Islands. Leverkusen hopes to extend his contract, which has two years remaining. However, if an agreement cannot be reached, Schick will look to move to the Premier League. He is valued at around €30 million (£25.2 million). Several Premier League clubs, including Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United, Newcastle, and Liverpool, are interested in finding a new striker this summer. Since joining Bayer Leverkusen from Roma in 2020, Schick has scored 77 goals in 159 matches.
