Paul Sinha defeated by contestant on The Chase

Paul Sinha, known as The Sinnerman on ITV's quiz show The Chase, expressed his frustration after a surprising loss. In the latest episode, he managed to eliminate all four contestants before the final chase began. The contestants performed well, but Paul’s skill was dominant. However, one player, Josh, a 30-year-old pathology doctor, made a strong comeback. He had originally earned £7,000 in the cash builder. In the final chase, he answered an impressive 17 questions correctly, finishing with a total score of 18. Presenter Bradley Walsh praised Josh's performance, noting how rare it was for a contestant to achieve such a score alone. Paul acknowledged the challenge of facing a skilled player like Josh in the final chase after knocking out the others. The chase saw intense moments, with Paul needing one correct answer to win with just two seconds left. Unfortunately, he answered incorrectly, allowing the contestants to win £1,000 each. After the show, Paul voiced his disbelief, mentioning he only got three questions wrong throughout the show. He noted he would have chosen Anna, another strong player, for the final chase and admitted he underestimated Josh's abilities.
