PDEA seizes P272 million shabu in Rizal operation

Authorities seized 40 kilograms of "shabu" worth P272 million in a drug bust in Binangonan, Rizal late Wednesday night. The operation was carried out by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA). During the raid in Rizal Cement Village, agents confiscated 40 packs of suspected shabu. They also arrested a suspect known by the alias “Ronald.” Ronald is facing charges for selling and possessing illegal drugs. This is under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. PDEA director-general Undersecretary Isagani Nerez praised the law enforcement teams involved in the operation. He stated that this action was a significant blow to the illegal drug supply chain and promised more such operations in the future.
