A 56-year-old man died after being hit by a Regional Transportation District bus in Denver. The accident occurred near the 16th Street Mall on Thursday afternoon. The man, identified as Jard Davis, was taken to Denver Health, where he was pronounced dead. The incident happened at approximately 12:23 PM at 17th and Champa streets. Police believe that Davis was crossing the street against the traffic signal at the time of the crash. The investigation is still ongoing, according to Sgt. Jay Casillas.
