Pedestrian killed in East Allegheny vehicle crash
A pedestrian was killed in a vehicle crash in East Allegheny, Pittsburgh, early Saturday morning. Police responded to the scene at about 2 a.m. and found an adult male with severe head injuries. Witnesses reported that the man was exiting a silver pickup truck when he was struck. The vehicle that hit him fled the scene, turning onto Madison Avenue. The identity of the deceased has not been released by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner. Pittsburgh police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
