Perambalur designates three protest locations by bus stands

The district administration in Perambalur has designated three locations for protests and public meetings. This decision follows a recent meeting with representatives from various political parties and organizations. Perambalur Collector Grace Pachuau chaired the meeting, which also included Superintendent of Police Adarsh Pachera and other revenue officials. The identified spots for protests and gatherings are near the Gandhi statue by the old bus stand, at the new bus stand, and at Vanoli Thidal. Groups wanting to hold events must obtain permission. If there are about 100 participants, the old bus stand is the designated spot. For events with 200 people, the new bus stand will be used. If attendance is between 200 and 500, Vanoli Thidal will be the venue. Priority will be given to groups that apply first if multiple groups request the same time. Participants also asked for a new location in the Palakarai area for demonstrations. Officials stated they would consider this request.
