Perpetual slams San Sebastian, advances to Final Four

The University of Perpetual Help System DALTA secured a spot in the Final Four of the NCAA Season 100 juniors basketball tournament on Tuesday. They did this by defeating San Sebastian College-Recoletos with a decisive score of 104-69. Lebron Jhames Daep led the team with 20 points. He also grabbed six rebounds, had one assist, and made one steal. JD Pagulayan and Jan Roluna contributed significantly with 15 and 11 points, respectively. With this win, Perpetual's record stands at 7-1, and they have one game left in the elimination round against Colegio de San Juan de Letran. Despite their success, head coach Joph Cleopas emphasized the need for the team to stay focused. He reminded the players not to get carried away by their emotions. “Nobody wins in the semifinals,” he said. He urged the team to respect their upcoming games and stay grounded. In another game, San Beda University narrowly defeated the winless Lyceum of the Philippines University, 68-56. Andrei Ugaddan scored 17 points, while Francis Dollente added 13 points, leading their team's fourth-quarter surge. This victory improved San Beda's record to 5-3, while Lyceum remains winless at 0-8.
