Perth locals urged to use buses for concert
About 16,000 people are expected to attend the Red Hot Summer Tour at Sandalford Wines in Swan Valley. The concert features popular Australian bands like Icehouse, Noiseworks, Wolfmother, and Eskimo Joe, taking place this Saturday. Organizers are encouraging attendees to use a shuttle bus service. This recommendation comes after heavy traffic plagued a previous concert by Robbie Williams, causing many fans to arrive late. Organizers want to prevent similar issues for this event. Sandalford CEO Grant Brinklow is optimistic about avoiding traffic problems this time. He mentioned that the winery had hosted two Cold Chisel concerts last year without any congestion. He suggests that attendees should pre-book a bus ticket to focus on enjoying the concert. Buses will pick up concertgoers from 12 locations, including Halls Head, Cottesloe, Burswood, Joondalup, and Fremantle. The shuttle service will also drop people back after the show, with tickets costing $33.62. For those who prefer, attendees can take a train to Guildford station and then transfer to a shuttle bus for just $10. Bus tickets are available for purchase on Ticketmaster.
